First Night of Fall Quarter
Thanks to Emily Harper Beard for coming our very first night of class to talk about the FRIST and all it has to offer college students as well as the larger community. Then we got into small groups and talked about and made some work. Pictures from the dance floor when we went to the college night at the FRIST organized by EHB coming soon!

Conexion Americas
Our two visits to Casa Azafran to work with Jamaal Sheats were so awesome. Big thanks to Tasneem Tewogbola from Conexion Americas and Shaun Giles from the FRIST for setting everything up. Looking forward to seeing all of your hard work as part of the Exquisite Nashville show at the FRIST in March 2015!!!

Contrast Critique/Double Trouble
I love that everyone is using the assignments as a jumping off point to make art as opposed to trying to please the words on the paper. Everyone did a great job talking about their work and their partners work and supporting each other while you were in the hot seat.

2 minutes and the wheels fall off!
Each student began a drawing and every two miuntes they changed drawings until all 19 students had worked on each drawing. We then looked at them and laughed and laughed. Then we talked about how helpful it was to work with and accept each others ideas.
All contrasty and such...
Tonight in class we presented in teams of two. It went really well as each student had someone with them to help them talk about their work. The work looked great!
